How To

Repairing A Damaged Motor Of A Drone

First, identify the broken part of the motor to repair it. The best way to do so is to take the propeller off the motor shaft. You should then remove the wires that are attached to the motor, and examine the inner workings. If there is something wrong with the motor, you will know which part you need to repair.

You don't need to worry if there's no damage to your motor. However, a motor that looks like the one below will require you to replace certain components before you can fly again.

Imagine a motor that isn't turning anymore because it has been bent. The motor will need to be bent back into its original shape. To hold the engine, use a pair pliers or a vice grip. Once you've done this, make sure to check the motor thoroughly for signs of wear.

Once you are satisfied with everything, mount the propeller on the motor shaft. Reattach the wires. Your drone is now ready to fly!
